week seven

this week consisted of the rest of the joists being put in to place and reinstating measurements for the wet areas that had to be ply wood which is different from all the rest of the house that has particle board before the ply wood could go down the sicilation foil needed to be drapped over the joists with a 100mm dip in every span of the joist this was made possible by constructing a tool made up of 4x2 timber fixed into a way that gave the dip into the foil there where two areas that need to be prepared with the foil for the ply wood once the foil was set and prepared we then measured out the ply to fit int o the specified areas and using our skill saw cut thhe ply to size and fitted it in to the area using flooring nails and later to be screwed dwon with a square drive head screw  this was all done before the two week holiday .........
